On August 13, accompanied by family and friends, the couple gathered in this beautiful venue in Lamego, surrounded by the natural and artistic beauty of the Douro, which provided a magical and memorable setting.

The morning was filled with the excitement of the preparations. While Chloe was getting ready, Nicolas and his godparents had a gin toast by the Viscondes da Várzea swimming pool.

After his swim, Nicolas began his preparations, wearing an elegant suit in shades of gray and black from Alfaiataria Lusa. One detail that didn’t go unnoticed was the personalized cufflinks, engraved with the couple’s initials, a meaningful touch. Before heading to the ceremony, he was surprised by his friends with a playful jest that helped him loosen up before the big moment.

On the other side, the bride, already looking stunning with her hair up and adorned with a silver floral headdress, was adjusting the last details of her dress with the help of her bridesmaids.

Before the ceremony, the guests had a special experience: Miss Tripa prepared the delicious tripas de Aveiro. This detail brought an authentic and representative taste of the region of Aveiro, Nicolas’ homeland, adding a personal touch to the wedding.

The symbolic ceremony, conducted by celebrant Maria José Rola, was held in French, a moment full of emotion. The exchange of vows and the speeches of those closest to them, full of genuine feelings, became even more special in the natural setting surrounding them.

On the terrace, they enjoyed a relaxed Sunset and an atmosphere animated by a vibrant vinyl DJ set paired with live percussion by Feedback Produções.

While the adults enjoyed the music and socializing, the Baba Babysitting ensured that the little ones were entertained, allowing everyone to make the most of this unforgettable afternoon.

A special moment was reserved for photographs. The bride and groom made the most of the company of family and friends to capture precious memories, followed by a photo session for just the two of them with photographer Tiago Sousa. As well as taking pictures of the monumental nature of the Douro, with its green hillsides and vineyards as far as the eye can see, the couple couldn’t resist a fun moment on the pirate inflatable from Dynamic Kids.

Dinner took place in the winter garden, carefully prepared by the hotel and to the sound of a live band. After the first dance, the cake cutting followed outside, accompanied by fireworks.

The evening ended with a memorable party in the ballroom, to the sound of DJ Bruno Martins from Feedback Produções.

As a final touch and tribute to the region that hosted this special day, the bride and groom offered carefully chosen souvenirs: Régua sweets and bottles of Port wine, authentic symbols of the Douro’s tradition and richness. A gesture that allowed guests to take home a little of the magic of this unique place.

Chloe and Nicolas, every detail, every smile, and every emotion shared at your wedding will be fondly remembered by our team. We wish you a life full of love, happiness, and endless memorable moments.

Marzia & Miguel | The Astoria https://www.getmarried.pt/en/2024/10/31/marzia-miguel-historias-com-alma/ https://www.getmarried.pt/en/2024/10/31/marzia-miguel-historias-com-alma/#respond Thu, 31 Oct 2024 19:33:38 +0000 https://www.getmarried.pt/pt/?p=4350 The long-awaited day of our beloved bride and groom, Marzia and Miguel, has finally arrived, and it was everything they had dreamed of. On June 29, surrounded by family and friends, they celebrated their love at The Astoria in Grijó. This venue, carefully managed by the Histórias com Alma, provided the perfect setting for this special day.

The preparations began in the middle of the day. In her bedroom, Marzia entrusted herself to the care of Di Pinho Makeup, who enhanced her natural beauty with a delicate makeup look and an elegant hairstyle. Meanwhile, on the other side of the house, Miguel put on his Amour Glamour suit, attentive to every detail, anticipating the moment he would see his bride for the first time.

At 3 pm, the Tiago Sousa Wedding Photography team arrived, ready to record every detail of this memorable day. From the first nervous glances before the ceremony to the fine details of the floral decoration, every moment was documented so the couple could relive these memories over the years.

The ceremony began at 5 pm in the heart of The Astoria’s garden. The path to the altar, lined with soft rugs, and decorated with white flowers and wooden seats, gave a rustic and welcoming touch, creating the perfect setting for our couple to exchange vows.

Celebrant Mariano Sarno conducted the ceremony in Portuguese and Italian to ensure that every moment was even more special, guiding the bride and groom through a journey of love and commitment.

Bouquet by Sublime

After the ceremony, appetizers were served. Guests were treated to the music of a live saxophonist from Feedback Produções, who set the perfect tone for a relaxing sunset.

The ribbon game was one of the highlights of an afternoon full of fun and good energy, which continued with dance and games as the day slowly turned into night.

As the day drew to a close, everyone headed to the dining room, delicately decorated by the Histórias com Alma team, to enjoy dinner. The menu, carefully chosen by the bride and groom, reflected their taste, and in the best company, time flew by. By the end, a two-tiered cake by the Cake Shop marked the cake-cutting moment.

The ball opened with a dance from Marzia and her father, followed by the bride and groom’s first dance, kicking off a long night of partying.

This was another wonderful wedding that we were lucky enough to be a part of, helping to make Marzia and Miguel’s day not just another celebration but a unique milestone in their history. Together we worked to ensure that every detail reflected the essence of the couple, turning their dream into an unforgettable reality. For us, it was a privilege to be by their side and be able to help create memories that will last forever.

Sandrine & Filipe | Aldeia de Pontes https://www.getmarried.pt/en/2024/06/23/sandrine-filipe-aldeia-de-pontes/ https://www.getmarried.pt/en/2024/06/23/sandrine-filipe-aldeia-de-pontes/#respond Sun, 23 Jun 2024 16:09:04 +0000 https://www.getmarried.pt/pt/?p=4214 When we imagine the ideal venue for a wedding, we often think of the traditional settings of a Quinta or a hotel. However, there is something truly magical about planning a wedding from scratch, where every detail is meticulously thought out and personalized to create your dream event.

In this article, we will share the dream setting of our bride and groom, Sandrine and Filipe, the beautiful Aldeia de Pontes, located in Castro Laboreiro. It was the perfect setting for an outdoor wedding, without giving up the beauty, authenticity, and memorable moments that such a special day cannot do without.

With a setting like this, the party couldn’t wait. The day before the wedding, the couple along with family and friends staying in the village, enjoyed a dinner surrounded by nature and music, which helped them anticipate what was waiting the next day.

Preparations for the big day began early in the morning. Every space in the village was selected and carefully decorated to create the ideal atmosphere.

The area for the ceremony was set up in a corner adorned with flowers, creating a romantic and charming setting.

Palace Catering, responsible for all the food service, did a fantastic job when it came to adapting to the space itself. In the center of the village, a long dinner table was set up and illuminated by hanging lights, which ensured a warm and festive atmosphere for the evening.

An outdoor dance floor and lounge areas also got set up in this space, where guests could relax and enjoy the atmosphere.

While the various spaces were being organized, the couple began their preparations for the day. The bride’s hair and makeup were done by Di Pinho Makeup Artist, who created an elegant and natural look. Her dress was an off-the-shoulder model by Rosa Clará, further enhancing her beauty on the big day.

The groom chose a green suit with light gray and white accessories from Prassa Cerimónia, creating a sophisticated and modern look.

The ceremony took place outdoors, celebrated by Filipa from Celebrar o Amor, and consisted of a symbolic ceremony that included the exchange of vows and rings, followed by the official registration, all planned to take place on this important date for the couple.

After the ceremony, everyone enjoyed a beautiful sunset prepared by Music Beats.

During this time, the bride and groom also had their couple’s session with photographer Tiago Sousa Wedding Photography and his team. It was a moment where there was no shortage of fun, as well as Sandrine and Filipe’s adventurous spirit.

For Dinner, the table and surrounding area were decorated by Bouquet de Liz, who created stunning floral arrangements and accents that perfectly complemented the atmosphere. It was a celebratory dinner with family and friends, where stories, memories, and lots of laughter were shared.

And Music Beats continued the party, providing moments of fun that kept the guests on the dance floor well into the night. The combination of a great summer evening, props, contagious music, and the guests’ happiness made this an unforgettable night.

This wedding in the village of Pontes was proof that, with planning and creativity, it is possible to transform any place into the perfect space to exchange vows, laugh, cry, and enjoy everything this day has to offer. The authenticity of this day and the personalization of every detail created memories that will remain etched in their memory forever.

We wish the couple, Sandrine and Filipe, a life full of love, joy, and many adventures together. May this day be just the beginning of a wonderful journey ♡

Hang and Miguel | Histórias com Alma https://www.getmarried.pt/en/2024/03/14/hang-miguel-historias-com-alma/ https://www.getmarried.pt/en/2024/03/14/hang-miguel-historias-com-alma/#respond Thu, 14 Mar 2024 11:25:18 +0000 https://www.getmarried.pt/pt/?p=4162 Marriage is a unique celebration that reflects not only the union of two souls but also the fusion of different cultures and backgrounds. In this article, we’ll dive into the magical story of Hang and Miguel’s wedding at Histórias com Alma, a couple who decided to seal once again their promise of love on Portuguese soil, having already done so in Vietnam.

The couple’s preparations began in the early afternoon. The bride had her hair and makeup carefully prepared by Di Pinho Makeup and wore a dress with a transparent sleeve delicately adorned with beautiful leaf-shaped details which, combined with the headdress, gave a special touch to the look.

The groom wore a classic black suit. To complete his look, he opted for a bow tie that added a touch of modernity and elegance, not forgetting his sunglasses, which accompanied him throughout the sunny ceremony.

The ceremony was performed by Francisco, a celebrant from Histórias com Alma, and was more than just the celebration of a commitment, it was an experience filled with love and shared with the guests. The active participation of friends and family brought a unique and warm touch to the moment. For this moment, the bride had with her a bouquet of white peonies by Sublime Design Floral, which perfectly complemented the ceremony.

We couldn’t fail to mention the ring bearer, painted with the salt pans of Aveiro, which symbolized not only the couple’s union but also the groom’s hometown.

After the ceremony, the reception was marked by moments of joy and accompanied by the Music Box, responsible for all the entertainment at the event. Unlike the other weddings we’ve shared here, the reception ended with the cutting of the cake, which took place before the entrance to the dining room. A Menina do Bolo was the one that prepared their wedding cake.

Dinner followed in the dining hall, beautifully decorated by Histórias com Alma. In addition, along the tables, you could see a card with a little pun about a cocktail, a unique and fun detail.

The evening unfolded into a lively party, where Hang surprised the groom and their guests with a change of look.

The wedding of our dear Hang and Miguel transcended borders, cultures, and expectations, creating a unique narrative that we hope will be remembered not only by the bride and groom but by everyone who witnessed their union. A celebration where the meaning of the word LOVE was involved from start to finish and will remain an inspiration to everyone who believes that true love knows no barriers.

Tiago Sousa Wedding Photography’s team was responsible for eternalizing every detail of the day and capturing every emotion of this encounter.

The symbolic ceremony performed by the celebrant Histórias que Marcam happened in front of the farm’s century-old chapel. It was a moment of sharing feelings and shedding a few tears during the vows.

Last July, a radiant sun and heat took on the role of guests of honor on the beautiful day when Ana and André exchanged promises and declarations of love.

On the other side, André’s preparations began. He wore a light-colored suit from Best Bridal paired with a cream satin tie.

The ceremony took place in the Mother Church of Santa Maria da Feira, a beautiful moment where the bride and groom exchanged vows in the presence of their loved ones.

The reception followed at Quinta do Rio, where the entertainment began with the ribbon game, which highlighted the bride’s beautiful bouquet made by Historias de Flores.

The venue not only provided mouth-watering catering but also entertainment for the event. From the musicians to the DJ, every note and beat brought joy to the space, making everyone present give in to the festive atmosphere.

There was also a moment to celebrate Gonçalo’s baptism with the cutting of his cake and a session with the couple and guests by White Valley, who were responsible for the photography and video of the day.

After the Sunset, some photos, and lots of good times, it was time for dinner, which took place in the hall decorated by Quinta do Rio itself, all the tables adorned with white flowers and gold elements.

After dinner, it was time for the cutting of the cake. The bride and groom had their entrance lit up by little sparkles in the hands of their guest.

Such an incredible day could only end in the best way: with a ball! After the thrilling opening of the dance floor with the couple’s first dance, the evening was full of laughter, fun photos with props, a contagious rhythm, and memories that will live on in the book of honor for years to come.

The couple’s preparations for their big day started early. The bride wore a detailed, off-the-shoulder dress by Atelier dos Noivos and had her makeup and hair done by Blush Talk. Meanwhile, the groom wore a suit by Alfaiataria Lusa.

The preparation was then followed by a moment full of emotions, the ceremony, which took place in the Church of Trofa in Águeda, decorated by Sublime Design Floral.

At Casa de Abis, the decorations were all done by the venue itself, with floral details and candles that gave the wedding a magical atmosphere. The stationary made by Aquarela went beautifully with the rest of the venue’s decoration, making it even more special.

The entertainment provided by Soanimarte brightened up the space during the Sunset and ensured that everyone had a good time with the presence of mimes. Who also got everyone out on the dance floor.

As the day drew to a close, dinner was the highlight, where socializing took center stage, and the bride and groom had the opportunity to enjoy a special moment prepared by their friends.

Andreia and José’s first dance was the opening of the dance floor and the starting point for an incredible party that was the end of this special day.

These are days to remember, and that’s why Tiago Sousa Wedding Photography was responsible for the photography and video, capturing the tears, the leaps of happiness, and the biggest smiles.

Our greatest motivation is to see days like this happen and ensure that even difficulties such as rain are no obstacle to our bride and groom’s dream wedding.

This couple’s wedding was not only a celebration of union, but also a tribute to cinema, music, and above all a tribute to the memory and courage that mark April 25th.

Graphic design by Rebellis Design Atelier.

The main goal of this day was to make it unforgettable for the couple. To achieve this, it was important to consider all their wishes and expectations, from their look to every detail until the last dance of the night, all thought out with precision and care with the support of Get Married Wedding Planner.

The day began with preparations of the bride and groom with the help of Estefânia Genovese, who worked her magic on the bride’s hair and make-up, enhancing her natural beauty with a simple but elegant style.

As for their look, Catarina’s dress was by Rosa Clará, with some details on the top, a beautiful bow at the back, and no sleeves, which allowed the bride’s various tattoos to stand out.

Bruno wore a Prassa Cerimónia suit in blue, a classic and timeless color, complemented by a light gray vest that not only highlighted the groom’s style but also harmonized with the wedding theme.

After the preparation, the ceremony followed, a civil ceremony with a beautiful moment of vows full of emotion, where the bride and groom expressed their love for each other.

The bouquet and boutonniere, as well as the decoration of all the spaces, were made by Kitschnet, combining natural elements with the flower of the wedding, the carnation, which not only gave color to the wedding and everyone present but also played the main role of paying homage to the carnation revolution.

We couldn’t fail to mention the ring bearers, the bride and groom’s dogs! Not only were they dressed to the nines, but they were also able to enjoy the day without any worries under the care of Soanimarte, the dog sitters.

After the ceremony, it was time for the sunset with entertainment also provided by Soanimarte, where both bride and groom had the opportunity to do their toss, where the bride threw her bouquet, and the groom a box of whisky to give to one of the bachelors.

There was also time to enjoy the photobooth from Ólhó Photobooth, for photos with the guests and a session only with the couple done by Pixel, who was responsible for the photography and video of the entire wedding.

The Kitschnet also decorated the dining room, but with a special detail: the tables were arranged using movie classics.

The meal and the cutting of the cake were lively and sociable moments where the bride and groom were surprised with a video made by their friends.

There was no better way for Catarina and Bruno’s special day to end than with a party, dancing to their favorite songs.

We believe that each wedding is unique, and this was the perfect example of how it is possible to live your day surrounded by everything you love. So we hope you enjoyed your day as much as we enjoyed making it happen, and we can’t wait to see how your story continues!

Before and After: How your dream wedding is created from scratch https://www.getmarried.pt/en/2023/05/11/antes-e-depois-como-criar-o-seu-casamento-de-sonho-do-zero/ https://www.getmarried.pt/en/2023/05/11/antes-e-depois-como-criar-o-seu-casamento-de-sonho-do-zero/#respond Thu, 11 May 2023 13:47:22 +0000 https://www.getmarried.pt/en/?p=3488 We know that the wedding day is a big day and that there are a lot of details to consider to guarantee that everything goes smoothly and according to what the bride and broom imagined. The first step is to choose the venue, which should reflect the couple’s style, and consider the number of guests expected.

Vera and Daniel’s wedding is the perfect example that the wedding venue of your dreams might sometimes be your own house or, in this case, the area around it.

From a beautiful garden to enjoy that day’s weather and record some memories, to the tent where the dinner happened and later the party, this wedding, in Castelo de Paiva had everything a bride could dream of, but built “piece by piece”.

The preparation of this event began with the assembly of a tent provided by Sitio do Pascal, which created a comfortable space for dinner, some entertainment activities, and the party. In this type of event, there are indispensable supports, like WCs (Vendap), generators, and water sources.

Inside the tent the dining tables were set up, and the entertainment area was created, with a LED track, panel, and counter.

As the tent was located in a higher place, with plenty of sunlight, there was the need to install air conditioning equipment to maintain a pleasant temperature throughout the day, not only for the guest during dinner but also for all the staff during the setup.

Casamento Vera e Daniel

From the chandeliers in the dining area to the garden lights, all of the illuminations were arranged by Luzes Castelo de Paiva, creating a magical setting and allowing the fun to continue even after the sunset.

On the balcony, located on the exterior of the tent, was created a lounge area for the guest to sit and chat, and even a placed a 360º video, provided by Festic.

The buffet and bar area was framed between the tent and the ceremony, merging with the lounge area.

Casamento Vera e Daniel

With the help of Maison Christina, that was responsible for furnishing this space, we created lounge areas next to the house’s garden.

The result was this area in a relaxed Boho style, ideal for relaxing and which served as the background for the photos with the bride and groom.

The ceremony took place in the garden by the pool, and on the porch was set up the choir, consisting of 12 elements plus instrumentalists.

Organizing a wedding from scratch means creating all the necessary infrastructures for it and satisfying all the needs, not only of the guests but also of all the suppliers, it is a meticulous and delicate job in which nothing can fail, and all the demands must have an immediate answer.

Unforeseen events? Yes, they happen, but having a plan B means having the answer at the needed moment.

Do we enjoy creating these weddings? Not only do we enjoy it, but it gives us enormous pleasure to fulfill our bride and groom’s greatest wishes.

Thanks to the natural beauty of the region this was the bride and groom’s choice for their big day. This way, eternalized in the Douro.

The guests stayed at Casa São Miguel do Douro from Friday to Sunday and the wedding was organized and planned by our team at Get Married Wedding Planner.

Always with their bridesmaids and best men by their side, the day began with the preparation of the bride and groom, that had their hair and makeup done by The Story.

The wedding started with an intimate moment, full of emotions, a First Look photographed in the house chapel.

Then the ceremony, symbolic and intimate, enriched by every affectionate look and tear that not even the guests could hold in. The decoration was taken care of by Sublime Decoração de Eventos, with predominant tones of white and green.

The reception happed at sunset and after many congratulatory hugs, wedding bingo prepared our guests for a bit of dancing and lots of entertainment, responsibility of Feedback Produções.

And of course, we couldn’t miss the opportunity of mentioning the bride’s beautiful bouquet, the main attraction in the bouquet ribbon cutting game.

The dinner and cake cutting, prepared by Palace Catering, happened outside, taking advantage of the great weather that was felt on this September day.

After so many emotions and entertainment, there was no better way to end this day than with a party!

We hope this day stays forever engraved not only in the amazing photos and videos taken by André Tavares but also in your hearts. May it be a day forever remembered with fondness.

Best wishes to the bride and groom and that you live many more unforgettable chapters of your love story ♥
